Our Mission
This name is used and means “get up and get out” of self. There are times life can become almost overwhelming, and it may seem that we are almost knocked off our feet. Our souls can become broken vessels, and it is at this time in our life that we need inspiration. We must get out of ourselves and move from our own energy as a means of rising and moving above.
About Our Organization
Up and Out Inspired Word was born from a desire to reach and help people. Our founder, Rev. Darlene, saw the hurt and pain many were going through. So, she started this organization to lend them a hand by sharing the difference between inspiration and motivation. When it comes to inspiration, it inflames one’s feelings, whereas motivation provides direction to those who are in the process of achieving their goals.
Meet the Founder
Rev. Darlene has been an ordained minister for over 21 years. She holds a Master of Divinity degree from the Chicago Theological Seminary. In addition to being a servant of God, she is also a compassionate counselor who helps people with their struggles in life. Rev. Darlene has over 20 years of experience in addiction, mental health, and spiritual counseling. She has also worked as a teacher, minister, and speaker. Rev.
